Hi! My name is Phil, I’m from the states, I’ve been living in Finland for…too long.
If I told you how long I’ve been living here, your next question would be, “So how’s your Finnish?” and I’d have to put my head down in shame and reply honestly…”bite me”.
I just turned 30. I’m based just outside of Helsinki. In between my days as marketer at Nokia, I moonlight as a stand-up comic around Finland for fun.
I made a list of things I need to do before I turn 40: Run a marathon, Publish a Book, Publish a Board Game, Never have Kids…and try stand-up. I tried stand-up once (watch it), people seemed to laugh, so I thought I’d keep at it.
