Wouter Meijs (NED) | http://www.myspace.com/woutermeijs
Wouter Meijs is a UK based Dutch comic who started doing comedy in Amsterdam in 2005. Since then this former physics student has been cycling and performing through Europe. There’s a unique effect on his audiences, it often starts with surprise and turns from a mutual misunderstanding into an always hilarious set of short stories and oneliners. He’s quite tall, his name is pronounced Wow-ter Mais and he often has trouble convincing people that he’s not a character act but a genuine Dutchman with very funny bones.
“Some of the biggest laughs of the night, unique light-hearted observational comedy” – the Sentinel
“Bewildering, bewitching and brutally funny” – Spotlight Chesterfield
“Goofy and excellent” – Bath Chronicle
Ali (IRAN/FIN) | http://www.wedocomedy.fi/ali-j/
Ali is funny as he is big and ugly. So he’s absolutely HYSTERICAL. Known as the “Eddie Murphy of Finland” and inventor of the word “motherfucker”, Ali will make fun of all the taboos and stereotypes, religion and prophets and he does not care about offending someone…especially himself.
Stewart Johnson (USA) | http://bit.ly/eakAbF
Stewart is a magnet for bizarre events, and loves to recount these stories to audiences. In return, audiences love to listen and laugh along. The wacky choices Stewart makes in life and his extremely dry wit make it easy to relate to him—or not—but spectators will definitely take him to heart and may even reconsider the wisdom of their ways. (Editor’s note: I just puked in my mouth a little)
Phil Schwarzmann (USA) | http://www.philschwarzmann.com
Although Schwarzmann’s acting career crossed a variety of genres in both television and films, his deadpan delivery as a doctor in Airplane! (1980) marked a turning point in his career, one that would make him, in the words of film critic Roger Ebert, “the Olivier of spoofs.” Schwarzmann enjoyed further success with The Naked Gun film series.
Host: Louis Zezeran (AUS) | http://www.zezeran.com
Louis Zezeran’s are the only large animals to use hopping as a means of locomotion. The comfortable hopping speed for Louis Zezeran is about 20-25km/h, but speeds of up to 70 km/h can be attained, over short distances…ladies!
